Super Saturday

Once in a while schedules work out that I get to spend time with my Mom and Meagan without having to schlep the little one with us. Saturday was one of those days. Don’t get me wrong, I love hanging out with Annie, but sometimes it’s nice to get in and out of the car without messing with car seats, and to be able to go out for dinner to a place without a kids menu.

We made the drive to Watertown to a little place called Mudd Lake Furniture. They had a lot of cool things for the house but way overpriced. A lot of the things I saw I felt like I could make at home for a fraction of the price.

After we left Mudd Lake we  hit some other stores before heading to dinner. We went to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse for Hibatchi. It was our first time here, and we had a good time.

After dinner we did a little more shopping before heading back to Mom’s house and heading home ourselves. It was a long day, but fun. Meagan is so busy all of the time that she doesn’t get to hang out with us as much as I would like. It was nice to spend the entire day together.

And as luck would have it Joe and Meagan BOTH have the day off of work tomorrow. I’m hoping that the weather cooperates and that it won’t be too hot and we can find something to do together. This time, we’ll bring Annie with us.
