Giddyup Cowgirl, it’s time to party!

After much anticipation and preparation yesterday was finally the day of Annie’s birthday party. She has been talking about it for months and asking everyone that she knows if they want to come. We had a great turn out, the weather was awesome and I think everyone had a good time. As I was putting the cowgirl to bed last night she said to me, “Thanks Mom. I had the best birthday party ever.” And without further ado, here is a little snippet into the day.

This was the invitation. I’ve obviously blurred our address and phone number for blogging purposes.

Moving to the back where most of the party festivities took place:

The was the fist decoration that I made way back in June or July.

This water table was filled with rocks that I bought from the $1 store. One bag was spray painted gold and the other left plain. I added some water to the table and sifting toys and the kids could Pan 4 Gold.

Mark is my cousin Suzie’s boyfriend who had special surprise for all of us when he slipped away from the party as Mark and returned as Cowboy Mark. What a GREAT GUY! He let Annie lead him (and by lead I mean run laps) around the yard and helped to make her birthday party extra special. It was a great moment and I love that you did that for my girl.

The day ended as all good westerns should. Sitting around the fire under the moonlight reflecting on a great day.
