Trick or Treat

We are knee deep in the age of fake smiles around here. πŸ™‚ Every year a local photographer opens up her studio for pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes. I have each one framed since she was 1 year old. It’s fun to pull them out every year and see how she has changed.

Last night we went Trick-or-Treating with Annie’s friend Hunter and his Mom and Dad. The two kids had a blast running from door to door getting their fill of candy. Annie wore out before Hunter did and was happy to sit with Hunter’s Dad in his truck and watch Hunter finish the last block.

Last week was a Halloween party for preschoolers put on by Early Childhood Education. It was hard to take pictures there as the kids were running everywhere. I managed to get a couple of blurry ones. πŸ™‚

Quick story about Bert. “Bert” was actually Annie’s preschool teacher. Annie had no clue even though she was talking all night to the kids. Annie didn’t recognize her voice. Later in the evening Annie saw Bert with his mask lifted a little bit and was SHOCKED that it was her teacher. She thought it was the funniest thing ever.

Ariel, Annie and Hunter (I told you-these kids were bouncing off the walls!)

Today was the Halloween party for Annie’s actual preschool class. I wish they would have done it last week but I don’t get to make the decisions. She decided that she wanted to wear her Cinderella dress up dress today for the party. The only problem is that she didn’t want me to wash off the black Vikings tattoos under her eyes. So…she decided she was a referee princess. Um, ok kid.
